Slowly Moving Homes – The Journey Continues
If you’ve followed my ministry for a while, you’ll notice some changes over the coming months.
I’ve made the decision to gradually move much of the teaching and inspirational writing from this website over to my new home on Substack. As of today’s date, July 2026, all new content will be found there.
The message is not changing. The location is.
Maintaining a website has become more costly, both financially and in terms of time and upkeep. Between hosting, security, backups, and behind-the-scenes maintenance, it simply makes sense for me to simplify where I can and be a better steward of limited resources.
Substack allows me to focus more on writing, teaching, encouraging, and creating without carrying as much of the technical weight that comes with maintaining a full website.
Over time, I’ll be moving selected articles from this website to Substack. Some older pieces will come with me because they still reflect my heart and convictions. Others may simply remain part of the journey.
The prayer series will also be moving over soon, and I’ll leave temporary redirects here as things transition.
My hope is that within the next year, this website will retire, but the domain name, katherinewalden.com will lead readers directly to Substack.
I’m not changing the message. I’m simply choosing to go where people are already gathering, rather than waiting for them to stumble across my writing by accident.
The journey continues. I hope you’ll join me there.
