Disclaimer: I first released this prophetic word in 2016. I believe the Lord has asked me to share it again for such a time as this.

Silence not the Sons of Thunder, the fiery ones who God is raising up for such a time as this!

As I sought the Lord concerning the rising tensions, unrest, and deep disillusionment surfacing among many young people, I was overwhelmed by the Father’s great love for His sons and daughters.

They are called to be powerful voices carrying His message of hope—not only within their own nation, but among the nations.

Many who stand on the front lines of protests, movements, and cultural conversations today grew up within the Church. They carry a deep passion for justice. That passion was planted there by God Himself. He delights in that desire to see what is right made right.

They need to be reminded of the Father’s great love for them.

They need to know that His justice is never separated from His mercy, and His righteousness is never divorced from His love.

There must also be repentance within the Body of Christ for the ways the passion within these young men and women has been stifled. Because they felt their voices were silenced within the Church, many sought places where they could express the questions and convictions burning within their hearts.

“Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.”
Romans 12:11 (NLT)

Pray that the Lord would invade their dreams.

Pray that His voice would find them in their quiet places.

Pray that His overwhelming love would pursue them until they cannot escape the relentless call of the Father upon their lives.

He has not forgotten what He created them to become.

Love is always more powerful than hate.

Kindness still leads to repentance.

The Lord is gracious and merciful, and His character must remain the foundation of our prayers.

Do not pray against those who are protesting, reacting, or stirring up trouble.

Pray that God would pursue them with such a holy and passionate love that they can do nothing but melt into His presence.

“I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave, you are there.”
Psalm 139:7–8 (NLT)

Pray that the Lord would redirect their passion into channels that bring lasting transformation—to their own lives, to their communities, and to every place where fear, prejudice, hopelessness, and division have taken root.

God says, “I captured the hearts of the Sons of Thunder, James and John and their hearts burned for my Kingdom. I am still doing the same today.”

The Lord says, “I am raising up key voices—young men and women from every background—whose words will carry influence in the days ahead.”

Many will minister through spoken word, music, poetry, media, and public platforms. Their words will become anthems of hope.

They will speak from love.

They will speak with courage.

They will speak life.

Their voices will rise above those rooted in fear.

There are young men and women carrying a mantle of prophetic justice and Kingdom courage, but that mantle has become buried beneath anger, discouragement, and disillusionment.

Intercessors have a vital role to play.

Pray they encounter the Father’s heart.

Pray that they remember the zeal they once carried for Him.

God is bringing forth loving, perceptive, compassionate, and courageous men and women to come alongside them—not with condemnation, but with wisdom; not with criticism, but with truth; not to control them, but to call forth their God-given identity.

It is not a time for punishment.

Pray from love.

Pray for joy to return to the younger generations.

Pray for teachable hearts to receive God’s truth through them.

Pray that they become everything the Father created them to be.

His heart rejoices over those He has called for such a time as this.

They will speak the truth from a flaming passion to see His love, His justice, and His grace poured out upon all people.

Until Next Week
